The official 2025 California Visitor’s Guide is now available at no cost.
Published by Visit California, the guide is intended as a statewide resource for travelers and residents looking to explore destinations across California, including updates from each of the state’s 12 tourism regions.

Anyone can request a copy by submitting their name, mailing address, and email address by following this link or clicking the button above. Physical copies are also available at California Welcome Centers and regional tourism offices.
What the Guide Covers
The 2025 edition includes updated travel information and practical features:
- A directory of restaurants, listed A to Z
- A round-up of new attractions and reasons to travel in 2025
- A beginner’s guide to skiing
- A digital winery finder tool
- Tips and lesser-known highlights from California’s national parks
- Theme park trivia and planning tips
- “Splurge vs. Save” charts comparing budget options across regions
- Pages identifying key foods tied to each part of the state
Actor and musician John Stamos is featured on the cover and interviewed inside, where he discusses his long-standing ties to California, including childhood memories in Southern California and performing with the Beach Boys.
Released Following January Wildfires in LA County
The guide’s release followed the series of deadly wildfires that devastated much of Los Angeles County in early January. According to Visit California, 98% of LA County was not in the burn zone, and the majority of local attractions remain open. Officials say tourism remains an important part of the region’s economy and recovery.
